Judgment in a criminal case accused of drug trafficking

The trial on the criminal case of Gadir Baladadashov and Sabuhi Hasanov accused of drug trafficking has completed in Baku, APA reports.

At the trial presided over by Judge Sabukha Huseynov, G. Baladadashov was sentenced to 20 years, and S. Hasanov to 19 years in prison.

Convicted G. Baladadashov was detained by officers of the Main Department for Combating Drugs. During a search in his house in the Binagadi district, more than 80 kg of drugs and psychotropic substances were found and confiscated.

During the investigation, it was established that G. Baladadashov established contacts through social networks with a citizen of one of the foreign countries, whose identity was not established by the investigation, and assisted him in the delivery of a large consignment of drugs to the territory of Azerbaijan. Then he delivered the drugs to Baku. G. Baladadashov was supposed to ensure the delivery and sale of drugs to individuals. In this case, his relative S. Hasanov helped him.
