Drug dealers who tried to smuggle more than 60 kg of drugs into Azerbaijan detained

Smugglers who tried to smuggle 63 kg of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan have been detained, APA reports citing the press center of the State Border Service (SBS).

Thus, thanks to the vigilance of members of the border detachment “Horadiz” of the Border Troops near the village of Maralli, Jabrayil region, smuggling of 63 kg 305 grams of drugs and 1970 psychotropic pills from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented.

The smugglers were arrested. They were a resident of the village I Shahsevyan of the Beylagan region Abdullayev Mehman Ali oglu (born 1982), as well as citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran Guluzade Akber Hussein (born 1977), Bagiri Malik Bahram (born 1980) and Asadi Ali Ahsan (born 1998).
