Assistant to Head of Executive Power of Goychay region detained

Vahid Isayev, assistant to the head of the Goychay region executive power, was detained, APA reports citing the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office. He was detained by officers of the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General.

Over the past 15 years, Vahid Isaev has served as an assistant to 5 heads of executive power.

For several days now, the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General has been conducting an inspection in the executive power of the Goychay region in connection with violations of the law.

The head of the Executive Power of the region, Mehdi Salimzade, was relieved of his post some time ago.
