Named the number of citizens of Ukraine who arrived in Azerbaijan after the start of the war

Since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, more than 9,500 people have been evacuated to Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports with reference to the head of the State Migration Service, Vusal Huseynov. According to him, among them there are citizens of Ukraine.

As V. Huseynov noted, about 6,800 citizens of Ukraine currently live in the AR. About 2,800 of them arrived in our country in the last 15 days, both as part of the evacuation process and on their own.

As for those who settled in shelters, they can stay on the territory of Azerbaijan for 90 days. Their stay in the country is considered legal during this time. We have not yet received numerous applications in connection with the granting of asylum.
