Woman tried to hand over heroin-soaked T-shirt to her son into isolation ward

An attempt to transfer drugs to Baku Detention Center No. 3 has been thwarted, oxu.az reports with reference to the Penitentiary Service.

Baku resident Sara Islamova tried to transfer 250 g of heroin to her son Tarlan Ismayilov, accused under article 234.4.3 (illegal manufacture, production, purchase, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs).

The woman soaked the T-shirt that was in the parcel with a drug.

The matter is under investigation.
