Sentence passed on the former head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Labor

The Baku Grave Crimes Court has completed a judicial investigation into the criminal case of the former head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, well-known writer Ajdar Jabiyev (literary pseudonym – Ajdar Ol), haqqin.az reports.

At the court session, the verdict was read, according to which A. Jabiyev was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison.

Ajdar Jabiyev, accused of taking a large bribe, was detained by the State Security Service. On the recommendation of the investigating authority, the Sabail District Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 4 months in relation to Jabiyev.

Ajdar Ol worked as the head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population when Salim Muslimov was in charge of the department, and was also engaged in writing.
