A large amount of money was appropriated in one of the markets

More than half a million manats were appropriated in one of the markets in Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the information, the district prosecutor’s office conducted an inspection based on the appeal of a resident of the Shamkir district Ramin Aliyev in connection with the misappropriation of AZN 539,222 in a market called Zirvə belonging to him.

On this fact, the General Prosecutor’s Office initiated a criminal case under article 179.3.2 (misappropriation or embezzlement on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the investigation was entrusted to the Shamkir district prosecutor’s office.
