Representative of Goychay district executive power detained

Rashad Shukurov, representative of the Goychay District Executive Power in the administrative-territorial district of the city of Goychay, was detained by officers of the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, APA reports.

He was detained as a suspect in connection with violations in the district executive authorities.

Some time ago, the head of the Executive Power of the Goychay region, Mehdi Salimzade, was relieved of his post. After that, the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General began checks in the Executive Power of the district. In connection with violations against the assistant of the former head of the Executive Power Vahid Isayev, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen
