The judgement was announced to the employee of the bakery

A trial on a criminal case initiated on the fact of the death of a woman at a bakery has completed in Baku, oxu.az reports.

In the Narimanov District Court, the verdict was read out to the worker of the Nur plant, Zhala Nuraliyeva (born in 1988), accused under Article 124.1 (negligent homicide) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She was sentenced to two years of hard labor with a monthly deduction of 20% of her salary.

Thus, on January 7, 2022, the district prosecutor’s office received information about the death of Matanat Hasanova (born 1971), who worked at the Nur bakery located in the Narimanov district of Baku and owned by İsrafiloğlu LLC.

The conducted investigation established that the woman at that moment was cleaning the dough mixing apparatus in the production workshop of the plant. The turned off apparatus was inadvertently turned on by another worker, Zhalya Nuraliyeva, as a result, M. Hasanova’s hand got stuck in the mixer, and she died on the spot from her injuries.
