A criminal case was initiated in connection with violations in the State Agency for Tourism

The Accounts Chamber has published the results of an audit of the compliance with the execution of public funds allocated to the State Tourism Agency, oxu.az reports.

The report on the activities of the Accounts Chamber for 2021 noted that as a result of the investigation conducted in connection with the failure to fulfill obligations under the contract concluded for the purpose of purchasing goods (works and services) in 2017-2018, as well as in connection with information about the activities of LLC “Azerbaijan Bureau of Congresses”, a criminal case has been initiated.

During the investigation, damages in the amount of 862,000 manats were provided.
