Detained with a large consignment of drugs

Residents of Baku and Absheron were detained with large consignment of drugs and psychotropic substances, the report.az information Internet portal reports.

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by the police department of the Yardimli region, a resident of Baku, previously convicted Rafael Allahverdiyev, and a resident of the Absheron region Marakhim Ibrahimov, suspected of drug trafficking, were detained in the village of Arus.

About 1 kg of methamphetamine, 1 kg of marijuana and 970 narcotic tablets were confiscated from the detainees.

In fact, the Yardimli district police department is investigating. By a court decision, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen for both men.
