Detained on suspicion of embezzlement of a large sum of money

A resident of Baku has been detained, suspected of embezzling a large amount of money by abusing the trust of citizens, reports the information Internet portal report.az.

Victims U. Asadova, K. Ismayilova and E. Eynullayev filed a complaint with the police that Baku resident Farid Abdinov, taking advantage of their trust, embezzled their money under various pretexts.

The citizens’ complaint was considered, F. Abdinov’s illegal actions were confirmed.

On the fact, a criminal case was initiated under the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, F. Abdinov was charged, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was applied against him by a court decision.

The investigation found that F. Abdinov as a whole fraudulently appropriated 178,000 manats.
