The Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement established in Shusha

On July 29, 2022, the session of the Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement started in Shusha, APA reports quoting the press service of the country’s Foreign Ministry.

The summit participants adopted the documents agreed upon at the Baku session held on July 25-28, 2022.

According to the document called “Shusha Accord” (Shusha Agreement), on the basis of the Youth Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, established on October 4, 2021 at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement was created.

The charter, logo and flag of the Youth Organization, whose permanent secretariat will be in Baku, were approved today in the framework of the Shusha session of the summit.

Within the framework of the event, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Department of the State Reserve of the city of Shusha, an exchange of views was held on the results of the NAM Youth Summit and the further activities of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement.
