Kamran Aliyev: Azerbaijan has created all conditions for media development

All conditions necessary for the development of mass media have been created in Azerbaijan, APA reports. Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said this while speaking at a conference held on the theme “Freedom of the Media and Ensuring Information Security of the Society in the Conditions of the Increasing Influence of Social Networks”.

He noted that all information disseminated in social networks is monitored and appropriate conclusions are drawn. The prosecutor’s office uses information disseminated by the media. K. Aliyev stressed that the prosecutor’s office also monitors information of a criminal nature, which is distributed in the media, tries to immediately respond to information of a criminal nature, and inform the public about the progress of the investigation within the concept of “secrecy of the investigation.”
