Activities of fraudsters empting bank cards prevented

Members of another group that stole money from bank cards have been detained, haqqin.az reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has received numerous allegations that in social networks, unknown people under the guise of employment of citizens get their bank card data, and then steal the funds on the accounts. As a result of the operational and technical measures, the suspects Muhammed Babazade and Gulali Kazimov were detained.

It was established that the detainees robbed about 100 citizens who turned to them, having received their bank card details.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact under the relevant article of the Criminal Code.
