President Ilham Aliyev: The process of opening jobs in Azerbaijan must be continuous

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in an interview with Azerbaijani television on August 12, spoke about the importance of opening a 179-room Basqal Resort & Spa hotel in the Basgal settlement from the point of view of developing tourism in the region, trend.az reports.

In particular, the President of Azerbaijan noted that the opening of this hotel will, of course, greatly expand the tourism potential of the region, and the creation of such facilities means the opening of hundreds of jobs. About 300 jobs are opening at the Basqal Hotel alone, and the people who work there are locals.

The head of state stressed that at the same time, today the activities of a large agricultural park in the Agsu district also give impetus to the economy of the region. There are about 200 jobs open there. That is, the process of opening jobs in Azerbaijan should be constant, because our population is growing, the need for jobs is growing. Thanks to the implementation of the projects I have mentioned, as well as the conditions created for the private sector, the state, for its part, provides great support for opening jobs and increasing the number of jobs.
