Detained for stealing company money

On August 18, 2022, a resident of the Sabirabad district, Nijat Agayev, applied to the Imishli district police department with a statement that unknown persons broke the side windows of his car and stole money, a mobile phone and documents from it, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

So, it was established that the specified crime was committed by the owner of the vehicle. During the investigation, it turned out that N. Agayev, working as a sales representative in one of the companies, embezzled 4,137 manats received from the sale. To hide what he had done, he staged the theft.

During the search, 1,454 manats, a mobile phone and other documents were found on him, which he reported as stolen. They were seized as material evidence.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact, the investigation is ongoing.
