Azerbaijani border guards detained border violators in various areas

On August 22, 2022, at 20:00, Azerbaijani border guards recorded a violation of the state border from Iran in the direction of Azerbaijan at the frontier post near the village of Gazakhlar in the Fizuli region, 1news.az reports citing the press service of the State Border Service of the country.

The outpost was alerted, the service area was blocked. The violator of the border, leaving the bundle he had with him, fled back in the direction of Iran, taking advantage of the dark time of the day and the complexity of the terrain.

During the border inspection, the bundle thrown by the violator was found. It contained 4.57 kg of marijuana.

The day before, the attention of the border detachment at the service area of ​​the frontier post near the village of Khazra, Gusar district, was attracted by the movement of three unknown persons in the direction of the Russian border, who behaved suspiciously. Disobeying the command of the border detachment, these persons, while trying to escape, were detained as border violators. During the clarification, it was established that they were citizens of Azerbaijan, residents of the Agdash region Hasanov Elshad Elkhan oglu (born in 1986), Jahangirov Akper Vugar oglu (born in 1986) and Isaev Khayyam Intigam oglu (born in 1987).

On the same day, an Azerbaijani citizen, a resident of the Goranboy region Aliyev Elvin Avez oghlu (born in 1993) was detained at the service area of ​​the frontier post near the village of Zyungyulyash in the Astara region in a forest while trying to cross the border in the direction of Iran.

In the course of the proceedings, it turned out that the repeatedly convicted E. Aliyev tried, by crossing to Iranian territory, in this way to avoid responsibility for the crime he committed a few days ago in Baku.
