The list of legal entities under public law exempted from VAT has been expanded

President Ilham Aliyev has amended the “List of legal entities of public law exempt from value added tax when performing work and providing services at the expense of funds allocated from the state budget”, approved by decree dated July 30, 2020, reports the online news portal report.az .

According to the decree, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies, the State Cadastre and Real Estate Register of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, the Center for Organizing Auctions, the Center for Organizing and Coordinating Corporate Governance, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Economy (AZPROMO), the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Economic Research Institute, the Media Development Agency, the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations, the Center for Legal Expertise and Legislative Initiatives, its subordinate Institute of Law and Human Rights are exempt from value added tax (VAT) ).
