Members of an organized criminal group of narcodilers detained

Over the past 20 days, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have carried out operational activities in the capital and regions to counter illegal drug trafficking and the cultivation of drug-containing plants, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, during the operations carried out by police officers, 19 members of an organized group were detained, who smuggled drugs into the country, cultivated drug-containing plants, organized online drug sales and involved minors in drug trafficking. In total, these persons were found to have 154 kg of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, 1,752 psychotropic tablets, 3,739 cultivated cannabis bushes and 33 Makarov pistol cartridges.
