Former Minister embezzled AZN 13 million from public funds by entering false information into official documents

The judicial investigation of the criminal case of the former Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Salim Muslimov continued, APA reports. At the meeting held today in the Baku Grave Crimes Court chaired by Judge Faig Ganiev, the indictment was continued.

The indictment states that while working at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, S. Muslimov, by entering false information in official documents, caused damage to the legitimate interests of the state and embezzled 13 million manats of state funds.

To date, the former minister has paid the state 20 out of 27 million manats in connection with the criminal case.

The process will continue on September 5, 2022.
