Man arrested for setting fire

“102” call service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information about a fire in one of the private houses located in Agdash city, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

So, as a result of the prompt intervention of employees of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the regional police department, the fire was extinguished, and its spread to nearby residential buildings was prevented.

During the investigation into the causes of the incident, it was established that the arson was committed by an unknown person or persons. As a result of operational-search activities carried out by police officers, the victim’s neighbor Tural Mammadov was detained. In his testimony, he confessed to the crime.

On this fact, the police department of the Agdash region is investigating.
