Persons put on the international wanted list, extradited to Azerbaijan

Based on the petition of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation decided to extradite Azerbaijani citizens Mutallimov Logman Gyulag oglu and Ibrahimzade Ruslan Rahman oglu, report.az news portal reported citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

As part of a criminal case in the proceedings of the Shirvan City Police Department, reasonable suspicions were identified that Logman Mutallimov, in collusion with other persons, committed theft, and within the framework of a criminal case in the proceedings of the Nizami District Police Department of Baku, reasonable suspicions were identified that Ruslan Ibragimzade committed fraud again with the infliction of large damage, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen against these persons, they were put on the wanted list.

Both wanted men were found and detained in Russia.

09/01/2022, accompanied by a special escort of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, L. Mutallimov and R. Ibrahimzadeh were extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan.
