Joint information of the State Security Service, MİDA and ASAN service

The State Security Service (SSS), the State Housing Development Agency (MİDA), the State Agency for the Provision of Services to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan (ASAN Xidmət) have disseminated joint information on the investigation of a cyber attack on the ASAN Login system of the E-Government Development Center in the process of choosing housing through “Affordable Housing” system, reports oxu.az.

“As previously reported, it was established that on September 15, 2022, before the start of the process of selecting 815 apartments of the Second Residential Complex (İkinci Yaşayış Kompleksi) in the Yasamal district of Baku, cyber interventions were carried out in the information systems of state bodies, due to which the process of selecting apartments was postponed . On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Main Investigation Department of the State Security Service.
At the same time, together with the relevant government agencies, these channels of cyber attacks were completely identified and blocked, and the necessary measures were taken to organize and conduct the process of choosing affordable housing.

It was decided to hold the deferred process of choosing housing on September 24, 2022 at 15:00, ”the information says.
