Azerbaijani border guards detained 30 people with forged documents in September

In September, as part of measures to combat illegal migration, 30 people were detained while trying to cross the state border of Azerbaijan with fake passports, Schengen visas and date stamps, the report.az Internet news portal reported citing the State Border Service.

In addition, last month 55 people were detained for violating the state border, of which 34 were citizens of Azerbaijan, 3 of Nepal, 2 of Tajikistan, 1 of Palestine, 1 of Pakistan, 2 of Iran, 2 of Pakistan, 5 of Afghanistan, 1 – Syria and 4 – Sri Lanka.

In addition, 678 people were detained for violating the rules of the border regime, and appropriate measures were taken against the detainees.
