2,098 crimes identified as part of anti-trafficking measures

As a result of operational-search measures to combat forced labor and human trafficking, 2,098 crimes have been registered over the past 17 years, oxu.az reports. This was stated by the head of the Main Department for Combating Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), Police Major General Azi Aslanov. According to him, 617 criminals have already appeared before the court.

A. Aslanov noted that 1,281 victims of human trafficking and forced labor have been reintegrated into society.
