Suspect detained for stealing money from bank cards

Police officers have identified the person suspected of stealing money from citizens’ bank cards, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

As a result of operational and technical measures, Surat Aliyev (born in 2002) was detained and brought to the investigation.

Under the guise of payment to persons involved in the sale of certain goods, he fraudulently obtained their bank card details, transferred money from them to his account, and then cashed out the funds.

The matter is under investigation.
