Electronic security service warns about phishing messages on behalf of Kapital Bank

The electronic security service warned citizens about phishing messages sent on behalf of Kapital Bank OJSC, oxu.az reports citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that in recent days, on behalf of Kapital Bank, a web page was created through which phishing messages were sent to citizens and money was offered.

In this regard, the Electronic Security Service advises citizens not to trust such dubious messages and not to open suspicious links. When receiving such mailings and messages, it is recommended that you first contact this organization or visit its official website to verify the accuracy of the information.

The Ministry also recommends that in the event of such situations, contact the hotline 1654 or the Electronic Security Service by e-mail reports@cert.az or through the website www.cert.az.
