50 more apartments provided to families of martyrs and persons from other preferential categories

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan has provided another 50 apartments to the families of martyrs, war invalids and other persons from privileged categories (acquired disability as a result of participation in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, the visually impaired), report.az news portal reports citing on the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Hidayat Abdullayev, who was present at this event. He said that after the Patriotic War, on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev, large-scale work is being carried out to provide social support to families of martyrs and war invalids.

This year, it was planned to provide 1,500 apartments and private houses to martyr families and war invalids, of which almost 1,000 have already been provided. Also, work continues to provide housing for persons who have acquired a disability as a result of participation in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, as well as visually impaired people.
