The former head of the executive power is accused of causing damage to the state in the amount of 7 million manat

The final accusations against the ex-head of the Shamkir District Executive Office Alimpasha Mammadov and the amount of damage caused to the state have become known, APA reports. According to the information, he is accused of causing damage to legally protected interests of the state in the performance of his official duties for seven years, when he served as head of the Shamkir District Executive Power.

In total, Alimpasha Mammadov embezzled money and received bribes in the amount of 6,804,613 thousand manats during his work as head of the Executive Office.

The former head of the executive branch was prosecuted under Articles 179.4 (misappropriation), 193-1.3.2 (legalization of proceeds from crime), 308.2 (abuse of power), 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 (repeated bribe-taking on a large scale) of the Criminal Code, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen in relation to him by a court decision.
