Detained for stealing gold items

A man was detained in Masalli, who stole gold items worth 18,000 manats from a neighbor’s house, report.az reports with reference to the Lankaran regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police received a statement in connection with the theft from one of the houses in the village of Badalan, Masalli region.

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by employees of the Masalli district police department, Murad Azizov, a neighbor of the victim suspected of committing a theft, was detained.

By a court decision, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was applied to the detainee.

The investigation into the fact is ongoing.
