Smuggling of a large consignment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

On the evening of November 15, 2022, smuggling of narcotic drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented on the official territory of the border outpost of the Horadiz border detachment, located near the village of Baharly in the Zangilan region, oxu.az reports citing the press center of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As a result of the operational measures taken, 8 kg 500 g of marijuana were found in a package hidden on the banks of the Araz River.
