Investigation in a criminal case against a number of former officials of the Ministry of Culture has completed

The preliminary investigation of the former head of the Shamkir Regional Department of Culture of the Ministry of Culture Azer Radjabov, the head of the department’s human resources department Alekper Aliyev and his consultant Seymur Safarov, accused of bribery, has ended. The materials of the criminal case were sent for consideration to the Ganja Court for Grave Crimes. The criminal case was transferred to the execution of the judge Dadash Imanov.

It is noted that as a result of operational-search activities carried out on the basis of citizens’ appeals in connection with the illegal actions of officials of the Shamkir Regional Department of Culture of the Ministry of Culture, a criminal case was initiated in the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.

Azer Radjabov, Alekper Aliyev and Seymur Safarov were charged under Articles 308.2 (abuse of official powers resulting in grave consequences), 311.3.1 (receiving a bribe by a group of persons by prior agreement), 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 (repeated bribe-taking by a group of persons). by prior agreement on a large scale) of the Criminal Code, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen by a court decision.
