Wanted persons extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan

Three wanted persons were detained in Russia and extradited to Azerbaijan, report.az Internet news portal reports with reference to the press service of the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office.

It is noted that the petitions of the Prosecutor General’s Office for the extradition of Azerbaijani citizens Dadashev Emil Alekper oglu, Azimov Adalat Azim oglu and Mirzoyev Elchin Mirza oglu were satisfied by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.

Reasonable suspicions were revealed that all three committed criminal acts, provided for by the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, a decision was made to bring all three as defendants, they were put on the international wanted list.

On November 30, 2022, escorted by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, these persons were taken from Russia to Azerbaijan.
