Azerbaijani customs officers prevented an attempt to transit methamphetamine to Turkey

At the Julfa customs post of the Main Customs Department of Nakhchivan, an inspection was carried out using a service dog of a Mercedes-Benz truck transporting persimmons from Iran to Turkey in transit through the territory of Azerbaijan, oxu/az reports citing the State Customs Committee.

During the inspection, methamphetamine (“pati”), weighing 14.757 g, wrapped in silver foil, was found in a plastic bag in the cab of a truck.

Recall that methamphetamine is included in the list of psychotropic substances prohibited for circulation in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
