Bank branch attacked

Today about 12:00, an unknown man came to the branch of one of the banks located in the Yasamal district of the capital, threatening employees with an iron rod, demanded money, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

So, thanks to the prompt actions of the employees of the Main Directorate of Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, serving there, the man was detained and rendered harmless. It turned out to be a previously convicted 33-year-old resident of the city of Shirvan Imran Akhmedov. The police seized a gas pistol, a knife and an iron rod from the detainee.

In fact, the Yasamal District Police Department launched an investigation.
