Memory of martyrs honored with minute of silence in Azerbaijan

Today at 12:00 in Azerbaijan, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of the tragic events of Black January, oxu.az reports.

Traffic was suspended throughout the country. A moment of silence was accompanied by horns and signals from cars, trains and ships.

As a sign of mourning, the state flags of Azerbaijan were also flown at half mast on the buildings of diplomatic missions, state structures and military units.

The public of Baku, foreign diplomats and ordinary citizens are heading to the Alley of Martyrs to honor the memory of the victims of the January 20 tragedy buried here and lay carnations on their graves.
