House arrest as measure of restraint for dean arrested for bribery

A petition for a measure of restraint against the dean of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University Famil Nasibov has been considered, oxu.az reports. The Binagadi District Court granted the request of the investigating authority.

According to the decision, Famil Nasibov was given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for a period of 4 months, subject to removal from office.

Professor F. Nasibov is the dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Engineering of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.

The dean, accused of taking a bribe, was detained by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General.
