The border service found 12 kg of drugs in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea

Measures are being taken to ensure reliable protection of the sea borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan, strengthen control over regime rules and combat smuggling in the Caspian Sea, APA reports quoting the press center of the State Border Service.

So, on February 1, 2023 at 15:05, as a result of joint actions of the technical observation point of the Coast Guard of the State Border Service and a patrol vessel in the Astara roadstead, in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, 18.4 miles from the coast, 2 bags were found tied to anchor.
