A mobile field hospital of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has been launched in the Turkish city of Kahramanmarash

The mobile field hospital of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan has started work in Turkey’s Kahramanmarash, where a strong earthquake occurred, Report news agency reported citing Turgay Abbasly, senior consultant for the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to him, Azerbaijani rescuers continue search and rescue operations in the city. 725 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in the territory, of which 41 are medical personnel. For several days now, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been carrying out search and rescue operations in Kahramanmarash. So far, 37 people have been cured alive, including 8 children, as well as the bodies of 147 people. A large consignment of humanitarian aid, tents, medicines was imported from Azerbaijan to Turkey. A mobile field hospital has been installed and started operating in Kahramanmarash.
