Drug traffickers detained in Sabunchi district

In the Sabunchi district of Baku, during police raids, people involved in the sale of drugs and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition were detained. As a result, 8 kg of drugs and 1 Kalashnikov assault rifle were seized from illegal circulation, Report news agency reported citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Employees of the Sabunchu district police department detained drug courier Hamid Hamidzade. About 2 kg of heroin were found on him. It is established that Hamidzade agreed to the offer to be a drug courier made to him by an Iranian citizen, whom he met on social networks.

Employees of the 14th department of the Sabunchu District Police Department also detained Aliyulla Khadiyev, who was engaged in drug trafficking. During a search of his house, more than 4 kg of marijuana was found.
