Humanitarian cargo of 25 containers sent to Turkey

Today, with the participation of the chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Rovshan Rustamov and Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagchi, a humanitarian cargo consisting of 25 containers was sent to the fraternal country from the Balajari railway station, Trend reports. Humanitarian aid will be delivered via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line to victims of a strong earthquake in ten provinces of Turkey.

The humanitarian aid sent today mainly consists of medicines, heaters and generators, and will arrive in the sister country within 3 days. Since the first day of the natural disaster in Turkey, the Azerbaijani public, which has demonstrated solidarity with the Turkish people, has been actively participating in large-scale relief campaigns
