The trial of the general arrested in the “Terter case” begins

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case of Major General Bekir Orujov, accused in the Terter case, has been completed, APA reports. The collected materials on the case were sent to the court for consideration. The criminal case will be considered in the Baku Military Court.

Orudzhev Bekir Shirin oglu was detained during the investigation of a criminal case related to the “Terter case”, in connection with the presence of reasonable suspicions of torturing individual servicemen, illegally depriving them of their liberty and other criminal acts.

Bekir Orudzhev was prosecuted as an accused under Articles 126.3 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm to the victim through negligence), 145.3 (illegal deprivation of liberty), 293.3 (torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment not considered torture), 341.2 . 2 (abuse of power) and 341.2.3, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest against him.
