A citizen who was on the international wanted list was extradited from Moldova to Azerbaijan

A citizen who was on the international wanted list has been extradited from Moldova to Azerbaijan, Report news agency reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Based on the petition of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Moldova decided to extradite a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, Kyvci Abdulkadir, in accordance with the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters of January 22, 1993.

In a criminal case being investigated by the Main Operations and Investigation Department of the State Customs Committee, Kivdzhi Abdulkadir is charged under Articles 200-1.2.2, 200-1.2.3 and 206.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He was detained on the territory of the Republic of Moldova and delivered to Azerbaijan on April 5, accompanied by a special escort of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
