The Accounts Chamber revealed about 10 million manats of unjustified payments

Wage deficiencies were identified in 14 compliance audits conducted by the Accounts Chamber last year, APA reports. This is reflected in the report on the activities of the Accounts Chamber for 2022.

Thus, 2.1 million manats were allocated for the maintenance of extra staff, 4.2 million manats for non-attendance, 0.5 million manats, 0.5 million manats for the salaries of persons appointed to positions without higher education or relevant qualifications. – for unforeseen bonuses and material assistance, 0.3 million manats – to persons who are not civil servants, 0.5 million manats – as a result of incorrect calculation of vacation pay and compensations, 1.5 million manats – as a result of overestimation of the calculated amounts and transfer of funds more than calculated amount, 0.1 million manats – as a result of other financial violations related to wages, a total of 9.7 million manats of unjustified funds were paid.
