Counterfeit money suspects detained

In the Aghjabadi region, the police detained suspects in the circulation of counterfeit money, oxu.az reportswith reference to the Barda regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

So, on April 9, 2023, an unknown person paid for a purchase at a kiosk with a fake 50-manat bill, about which the seller reported to the police.

As a result of the operational-search activities carried out by the employees of the Agjabadi District Police Department, a native of the Agdam region, previously convicted Sabuhi Aslanov, who lives in the village No. 588 of the Barda region, was identified as soon as possible. It turned out that he received this banknote from his neighbor Rahib Zeynalov. Police officers discovered him while making counterfeit banknotes in his photo studio in the village. During the inspection of this facility, five counterfeit 100-manat, 28 – 50-manat, four – 20-manat and five – 10-manat banknotes, as well as a computer and a printer used for their manufacture, were found and seized. These persons were detained and prosecuted.

By a court decision, he was chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
