Special operation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan: people who worked for Iran were detained

A group of persons carrying out criminal activities on the instructions of the Iranian special services under the guise of religion has been exposed in Azerbaijan, APA reports. A special operation was carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs against these persons.

During the operation, it turned out that about 20 people were members of this criminal group and were engaged in other activities under the guise of religion. It was established that they organized the mass sale of narcotic drugs, conducted religious propaganda in favor of Iran.

Their goal was to strike at the secular values of Azerbaijan, to addict young people to drugs.
