Former employee of the company is accused of embezzlement of a large amount of money

A former employee of Mətanət A is suspected of embezzlement, oxu.az reports. Khafis Mammadov is accused under article 179.2.3 (Embezzlement or embezzlement by a person using his official position) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the indictment, he embezzled 40,715 manat to the company when he worked as a freight forwarder there.

The court chose against him a measure of restraint in the form of police supervision. The judicial investigation of the case is ongoing.
