Drug dealers detained for drug trafficking

Over the past two months, 54 people involved in drug trafficking have been detained in the Narimanov district of Baku, Report news agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, in the course of operations carried out by employees of the Narimanov district police department, a total of 8 kilograms of narcotic drugs were found in detainees for drug trafficking, including 3 kilograms of heroin, about 4 kilograms of marijuana and 1 kilogram of methamphetamine. In their testimony, the detainees stated that, under the influence of curators living abroad, whom they met through social networks, mostly Iranians, in exchange for material benefits, they agreed to the offer they received to become drug couriers in the capital

Criminal cases have been initiated in the investigative department of the Office, and the investigation is ongoing.

In the course of operations carried out by employees of the Narimanov District Police Department recently, a total of 17 kilograms of drugs were seized from illegal circulation, including 9 kilograms of heroin and other strong drugs.
