Operation of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime

Employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a special operation in Sabirabad region, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, during the operation, the previously convicted Shakir Abdullayev, who lives in the Sabirabad region, was detained. During the inspection of the house, 1 Makarov pistol, 2 magazines of cartridges, 1 rifle of the TOZ-8 model and a total of 138 cartridges of various calibers were found and seized.

In fact, a criminal case was opened in the main department of investigation and inquiry under the relevant article of the Criminal Code. With regard to Shakir Abdullayev, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen, the investigation continues.
